Established in 1980, Bing Thom Architects has established a reputation for innovative design on a wide range of projects ranging from small scale interiors and houses to the challenges of city building. At BTA we regard sustainability as a journey rather than a destination- a process of discovery that informs each one of our projects. More often than not our projects are mixed-use, integrating a range of commercial, residential and institutional uses to create a vibrant and sustainable result. We believe in looking at environmental, economic and social aspects of a project as an integrated dynamic system rather than three goals competing for scarce resources. It is the connections between these factors that represent key opportunities to strengthen and support sustainability at a holistic level. |
